When log messages are created, they are stamped with the system time. This time is always relative to the same time zone (Greenwich Mean Time) for ease of travel. They are also stamped with the time zone of the machine they are created on since messages may originate from different time zones. Choosing to display GMT shows the actual uncorrected timestamp of the log message. Choosing to display Source time corrects the timestamp to the time zone in which it was created and choosing Local time displays the timestamp corrected to the time zone of the machine the log message is presently being viewed on. All three time fields may be displayed in a query simultaneously.
