InstallShield users can log messages using Paul Bunyan’s COM interface. The syntax is virtually identical to that of Visual Basic and documented in InstallShield’s online help.
Logging from InstallShield scripts is alternatively supported through a Win32 interface made available as an API Extension module. All API Extensions have complete usage instructions with examples and are freely downloadable from the web site’s API Extensions page.
