PAUL BUNYAN
Privacy Policy
This policy covers diamondsierra.com, run by IT Business Consulting, Inc., doing business as Diamond Sierra, Apollo Beach, Florida, USA. It explains what this website collects and why. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The Paul Bunyan plugin on your site
Paul Bunyan records information about your own WordPress site, on your own site, in your own database. That recording is not sent to us. Professional’s license check sends us only the license key, your site’s address and the plugin’s version, once a day and when it looks for updates. If you use Professional’s AI features, the text you send goes to the AI service you choose, with your own account, under that service’s terms; it does not pass through us.
What we collect
When you buy: your name, email address, billing address, company name if you give one, and what you bought. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store the full card number.
Your account: your email address and a password, which is stored only as a secure hash. We keep your orders, subscriptions and license keys in the account.
License keys: for each key, the sites it is active on, when each site last checked in, and the plugin version it reported.
Support tickets: what you write, the files you attach, and the order, plan, site and version details the form fills in. A temporary sign-in link for your site, if you give one, is stored encrypted, shown only to our support staff, and deleted when the ticket is solved.
Email: we send order receipts, renewal notices, license notices and support replies. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Security and server logs: like most websites, the server and our security tools record IP addresses, browser details and the pages requested, to block attacks and fix problems.
Cookies
The site uses cookies only to keep you signed in, to keep your cart and checkout working, to remember your cookie choice, and for security. You can see and change your choice with the cookie banner.
Who else processes it
- Stripe, for payments
- our web host, which stores the site, its database and its backups
- our email provider, which delivers the site’s email
- our security service, which checks traffic for attacks
Each handles the information only to provide its service to us.
How long we keep it
Order and billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. License keys and their site lists are kept while the key exists. Support tickets are kept so that we can see earlier problems if you write again; ask us and we will delete yours. Backups roll over on their own schedule.
Your choices
You can see and update your details under My Account. To get a copy of your information, or to have it deleted, ask through the support form. Some records, such as invoices, must be kept by law even after an account is deleted.
Children
This site sells business software and is not meant for children under 16.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page, with the date it was updated.
