Professional installs like any plugin you upload yourself. You need the free Paul Bunyan installed and active first.
1. Install the free plugin
If it is not already on the site, install Paul Bunyan from WordPress.org. See Install Paul Bunyan.
2. Download Professional
After you buy, download the Professional zip from your order email or from My Account on diamondsierra.com. Keep the zip as it is; do not unzip it.
3. Upload and activate
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Choose the zip and press Install Now.
- Press Activate.
The Paul Bunyan header now says "with Professional", and a Professional group appears in the side menu.
4. Enter your license key
- Find your key. It is in your order email, on the order page, and under My Account → Licenses on diamondsierra.com. Keys look like
PBP-7KQM-X3ZG-PQDG-3NK9. - Go to Paul Bunyan → Professional.
- Paste the key into the License box and press Activate.
The box then shows the key (partly hidden), your plan, how many sites use it and when it ends. Check now checks it straight away; otherwise Paul Bunyan checks once a day.
Updates
With an active license, Professional updates appear on the normal Plugins screen, like any plugin from WordPress.org, and install the same way. New releases show up within about 12 hours.
Moving to another site
On the old site, press Remove key from this site in the License box, then enter the key on the new one. You can also remove a site from My Account → Licenses.
