On this page
What it means
The visitor's browser waited a second or more for the first byte, beyond the time PHP spent building the page. That time goes on the network, setting up the connection, and waiting for a free PHP worker on the server.
What to do
If it happens on most pages, the host is the bottleneck: too few PHP workers for the traffic, or a server far from your visitors. Ask the host how many PHP workers the plan has, add a page cache so fewer visits need PHP at all, or use a CDN. If it is rare, it is usually one visitor's slow connection.
